Catholic Charities is committed to helping individuals and families experiencing homelessness find affordable, stable housing. Our team helps veterans and their families, people with severe mental illness and others who need shelter. We have multiple programs to help homeless persons throughout Northern Arizona.

Rental Assistance Lifts Burden for Mom of Two

A mother of two recently secured rental assistance through the Frances Cares Grant, which assists those who have past-due rent balances resulting from COVID-19. When her case manager informed her she would be receiving rental assistance, she cried tears of joy and felt a huge weight lifted off her shoulders.

NAU Interns Find Fulfillment Helping Those Experiencing Homelessness

Working alongside Catholic Charities staff are dedicated interns helping to do the most good. Nick and Bre, NAU students interning with the PATH (Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness) program, found satisfaction and joy in helping the community’s most vulnerable.
