Elderly veterans are among the most vulnerable members of our community, often facing complex challenges tied to aging, health conditions and the lasting effects of their service. Limited mobility, isolation and dependence on others can make it difficult for these veterans to leave unsafe situations or seek help.
Those who experience homelessness are often viewed as isolated from society. Yet many, like 64-year-old veteran Gordan Henry, continue to maintain meaningful relationships and roles within the community.
