Catholic Charities is committed to helping individuals and families experiencing homelessness find affordable, stable housing. Our team helps veterans and their families, people with severe mental illness and others who need shelter. We have multiple programs to help homeless persons throughout Northern Arizona.

Providing Hope One Meal at a Time

John Teeples is a chef for the Legacy Foundation Christine Stamper Center for Help & Hope. After working in the restaurant industry for 35 years, in 2020 he found an opportunity to do even more at the BHC Shelter. One year later, things are still going strong. Providing meals for those in need has given John a way to serve the community with his talents and compassion.

A New Home for a New Start

In fleeing an abusive relationship, Marcia and her family found themselves living on the streets, finding places to sleep in motels, shelters and their car. With the help of the Permanent Supportive Housing program, they were able to move in a good, safe home while they rebuilt their lives.
