Born and raised in Flagstaff, Ariz., Myesha came from a family of abuse, addiction and alcoholism. After years of struggling with addiction and DCS involvement, Myesha got sober and regained custody of her two youngest children. She got an apartment through Catholic Charities and has inspired her relatives to get sober and break the cycle that has plagued her family since childhood.
Shaylyn has been with Catholic Charities for a little over a year and is a Housing Case Manager in our new office in Page, Ariz. Her commitment to help and to heal is apparent in the dedicated assistance she provides to individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
