Amazing Staff

		Kasey Shaver of North Star Youth Partnership has trained 37 teens in the Safe Sitter program in its first year. This program created $2,170 in revenue and will be expanding to Coconino County this fall.
		Tami Bohannon is a sharp and caring leader who does her best every day to serve others and get her job done. She surpassed her department's fundraising goal this year by going over $2 million and did it with a lot of grace.
		Charles Ashby, Recovery Action Plan Advisor at MANA House, has gone above and beyond in supplying services for our veteran community.  This gentleman has forwarded the mission of Veterans helping Veterans.
		Paul Mulligan is a leader who includes everyone and loves his people. We are on our way to being one team, because of his model of inclusivity.
		Rebecca Payan, receptionist in the Cottonwood office, is always helpful and treats everyone with the utmost kindness. She recently received a very nice compliment from the Police Department for her efforts in finding a resource to get someone to Tucson for treatment.
		Sheila Lawrence, an In Home specialist, goes above and beyond her work by training new staff to enter information into IMPACT, which is their case management system, and organize their day to be more efficient.  She helps new staff to feel comfortable and confident in their work.
		Dave Paddison has taken on a big job and continues to keep at it, without wavering. The changes he's made to the accounting system is a great accomplishment and appreciated!
		Manuel Martinez, another In Home specialist, takes new staff out in the field and allows them to observe how he conducts visits in the client’s homes and how he interacts with the Department of Child Safety.  He makes sure new staff have a great understanding of the work and puts in extra effort to help them succeed.
		Michael Lewis and Holly Yzquierdo are two powerhouses in the digital marketing world. Michael's expertise in website development has almost doubled the visits to our website since 2014. Holly has brought life to the blog and social media, doubling our Facebook likes since 2014 and reaching a total of 919,681 people on all social media platforms last fiscal year (June 2015-July 2016). These two give their job their all, and as an organization, we are super blessed to have them!

Incredible Programs

Collaboration between Housing and Volunteer Services led to a great community event at Ironwood Village. Volunteers from Prudential and Hands On Greater Phoenix helped make a fun and memorable day for residents. A special thanks to Danielle Heyer and Brittany Allen for all your hard work! The Unaccomplanied Minor Program (UMP) wants to thank Refugee Resettlement for sharing 100 backpacks with UMP clients. This gesture clearly shows our One Team attitude and the Culture of Philanthropy at work at Catholic Charities.  

In-Home staff provides services to families who have open cases with the Department of Child Safety. They provide family preservation services and family reunification services. This last fiscal year, In-Home services successfully completed a site visit (audit) with their contractor.
