Catholic Charities is grateful for local support that helps us walk along side individuals and families in crisis and give hope. Individual donors, community partners, corporate partners, Catholic parishes and schools, and volunteers all help advance our mission to help our community’s most vulnerable.

St. Benedict Students Experience Service

What does service mean to you? St. Benedict’s Jr. High group partnered with Catholic Charities to discover their definition of service. Twenty students spent four days visiting several of our programs and learning about the needs in our community. They learned that although they are small, they are mighty and can truly make a big difference in their community.

Local Student Helps Kids in Foster Care

Each year, students at St. Francis Xavier School’s participate in the Arrupe Project. This project challenges students to find a local social issue to research and support through individual fundraising projects. 

Seventh-grade student, James Hartnett, chose to support Catholic Charities foster care program. His choice was especially meaningful because he was adopted from foster care through Catholic Charities when he was three months old.
