Serve a Thon Helps Domestic Violence Shelter

Catholic Charities is fortunate to have many community partners. One of those partners is Hands on Greater Phoenix. Hands On brought a group of volunteers from Blue Cross Blue Shield to My Sisters' Place (MSP), our domestic violence shelter, and put them to work!

Students Create Valentine's Day Cards for Veterans

Seventh graders at St. John XXIII Catholic school put their hearts into creating homemade Valentine’s Day cards for the veterans at Catholic Charities’ MANA House.  The MANA House veterans are men who have experienced homelessness and usually lack any strong family ties or emotional support. The Valentine’s Day cards came at a time when many found themselves feeling lonely.
