Foster Care and Adoption

Catholic Charities foster care program helps qualified individuals and couples become licensed foster parents. Our case managers facilitate the initial training and continue to provide ongoing training, resources and support. We recruit and support foster parents, therapeutic foster parents, kinship foster parents and unaccompanied minor foster parents.

When Rebecca adopted Miles, she gained not only a son, but a new sister too. Foster care and adoption can create unbreakable bonds that spread joy and bring families together.

Oftentimes, our desire in life is centered around finding our own unique calling within this world. Sylvia, a foster parent in Northern Arizona, was given hers in a dream when she was only 13 years old. With Catholic Charities, Sylvia and her husband worked with the foster team to become a licensed foster family, certified in children who are medically fragile.
