Catholic Charities is committed to helping Arizona veterans and veteran families experiencing homelessness. Our services in Central and Northern Arizona are focused on providing individuals with housing and resources so they can attain safety and stability.

Is there help for homeless veterans and veteran families in Arizona?

Catholic Charities Veterans Services team members assess each situation individually there is no one-size-fits-all solution for veterans’ homelessness. Our team works tirelessly to help veterans and veteran families take the next step toward stability.

Veterans who have been homeless often need help getting documentation like identification or military service forms before they can prove eligibility for benefits. For other veterans, they may need a safe place to make a fresh start. Our team is also able to connect with other community partners to find resources to ensure veterans get help with everything they need.

Catholic Charities is one of the local Arizona organizations that help homeless veterans to obtain housing, stability and hope for the future!

Catholic Charities works to get veterans and veteran families off the streets and into emergency, transitional and/or permanent housing as quickly as possible. We don’t stop there; once housing is secured, we provide necessities like bedding, cleaning supplies, pots and pans… everything we can to help veterans thrive. Veterans who feel safe and housed, can move beyond those immediate survival needs and work towards employment, healthcare and long-term planning for a thriving future. We continue to provide case management services to help veterans learn to budget, connect to their community and be truly independent.
