If helping youth to develop is your passion, you’ll enjoy volunteering with Catholic Charities North Star youth partnership or Westside Head Start. With North Star, you’ll assist teens with understanding the consequences of life choices and provide them with information needed to make good choices. North Star positions include internships, mentors (teens mentoring preteens), Safe Sitter trainers and Baby Ready or Not facilitators. With Westside Head Start, you can help preschool children prepare for elementary school. Positions include internships (classroom, family and health support), classroom volunteers and clerical help.
North Star has programs located in the Prescott area and Phoenix area. Westside Head Start programs are located in the West Phoenix Valley. You'll help give our youth the support they need to succeed socially, academically and have hope for their future. Our youth need you, and your gift of time will be investing in our country’s future leaders.
