These are ten scenarios that happen in your community every day. Some you will see, and some you will not, but you can do something to help all of these people in your community by giving $10 for 10 months.

Here are some people you may not see …

• A young woman being sex trafficked and desperate to be free.
• An abused woman trapped with her children in domestic violence.
• A foster child’s heart breaking for a permanent family.
• A scared, pregnant teenager who needs support.
• A man experiencing depression needing a trained counselor to help him.
• A bullied teen who needs peer support to get through it.

We search out the homeless and get them into shelter.

Help mothers of young children find support and early education for their little ones.

Mentor refugees so they can learn English, find jobs and rebuild their lives.

Give sex-trafficked survivors support to stand on their own feet — and be free

Provide shelter to domestically abused women and their children—and even their pets

Work with foster children who are in the system and find them a good home.

Give counseling and support to teenagers and women who experience unexpected pregnancies.

Offer counseling on a sliding scale for depression and other issues.

Organize teens into programs where they mentor each other and thrive

Give veterans the support they need to find jobs and a home.
