We are so grateful for your continued support of Catholic Charities Community Services! Because of you– our donors, volunteers, partners and staff members– we helped change the lives of more than 23,000 individuals last year throughout Central and Northern Arizona.

Take a moment to review our NEW Community Impact Report! This interactive report shares stories of amazing life transformations, inspiring people and groups who gave their time and resources, and updates about our latest projects and services, plus a special greeting from our President & CEO, Paul Mulligan.

Foster Families Come Together
for a Day of Appreciation

Several Mohave County foster care families recently came together at the Altitude Trampoline Park in Lake Havasu City for a fun day of jumping, eating and fellowship with other foster families. Catholic Charities’ Foster Care team organized the event as a way to show our deep appreciation for all that foster parents and families do to care for some of Arizona’s most vulnerable children.

Several local businesses generously donated to cover the cost of the event, as well as provide raffle prizes. Thank you to our compassionate partners in Mohave County for their support of our foster families, and a special thanks to BHHS Legacy Foundation, Aquarius Casino, Harrah’s Hotel and Beach Resort and Riverside Resort Hotel and Casino!

Light the World Funding Helps Meet Critical Needs

We are so grateful for the community of supporters who gave to the Light the World Giving Machines throughout the 2023 holiday season. Because of you, Catholic Charities raised over $24,000 from the Glendale, Prescott and Flagstaff machines! Funds will help provide hot meals and resources for those experiencing homelessness and residing in our shelters; books and toys for children; and household supplies for families and individuals moving into stable housing.

A huge thank you to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints which provides the machines and inspires generosity by offering the community a unique opportunity to give to local and global charities each year.

Catholic Charities Team Member Goes Above
and Beyond in Serving Foster Children

Rebecca Dominguez, Senior Program Supervisor for Catholic Charities’ Foster Care and Adoption program, has worked with Catholic Charities for nearly two decades. In addition to supporting foster parents, she is also a foster parent herself.

Rebecca and her husband began their foster care journey after realizing the immense need for foster homes. To date, they’ve fostered 21 children and adopted one child. Over the years, Rebecca has learned lessons at work and at home about what it means to foster. Read more about her knowledge and insight and learn answers to common questions about foster care

Pop-Up Boutique Outfits Teens with Free Prom Attire

Just in time for prom season, Catholic Charities’ North Star Youth Partnership, in collaboration with Tri-City College Prep, brought back the Priceless Prom Project to Prescott for the 16th year! The annual event empowers teens by providing free prom attire, including special occasion dresses, jewelry, tuxedos, suits, shoes and more.

This year, 200 area teens shopped the new or like-new items that have been donated by generous businesses and individuals in the community to ease the financial burden of attending prom. A big thank you to the students at Tri-City College Prep, Pine Ridge Marketplace for donating retail space, and over 50 volunteers who helped make this important event possible, ensuring local teens could enjoy their special night in style.
