Seeking Homeless in the Snow

Written by

Flagstaff Catholic Charities homeless outreach staff went out into the forest late December after a big snow to find people who needed shelter.

As a part of serving the homeless, Flagstaff outreach staff often visit areas common for the homeless to set up tents.

By following tracks, Flagstaff outreach staff can locate camping sites.

Without staff seeking these people, they would not be found.

This outreach led to two pitched tents.

The tents are often hidden in out of the way places to avoid detection.
