As we begin a new year, we are reminded that our mission is strengthened through partnership, generosity, and shared purpose. From being recognized as a top workplace to witnessing the impact of community giving, school visits, and faith-based support, these stories reflect the many ways compassion comes to life through Catholic Charities. We are grateful for every individual, organization, and community that walks alongside us in service to our neighbors across Arizona.

Catholic Charities Named a Top 5 Best Place to Work 

Catholic Charities was honored as one of the Top 5 Best Places to Work by the Phoenix Business Journal. This recognition reflects the voices of our team, with a 96% employee survey participation rate and 91% of staff expressing satisfaction with our workplace culture. 

We are grateful for the dedication, compassion, and collaboration of our employees, whose commitment to one another strengthens our ability to serve the community every day.

Fann Companies Support Local
Impact Through Employee Giving 

Cathy Peterson and Chloe Walker recently attended the Fann Employees Making a Difference event in Prescott, where Catholic Charities was honored with an $8,000 donation from Fann Contracting and Fann Engineering. 

Each year, Fann employees generously contribute through payroll giving, which owners Mike and Jason Fann match dollar for dollar—doubling the impact and demonstrating their long-standing commitment to the community. Over the years, this partnership has provided significant support to Catholic Charities programs. 

This year’s donation will be shared across several vital programs, including Veterans Services, North Star Youth Partnership, foster care, and more—helping ensure support reaches those who need it most. 

We are grateful to Fann’s leadership and employees for their continued generosity and dedication to making a difference.

Connecting Vocation, Service, and Community Impact 

We were grateful to welcome Brophy College Preparatory’s Profiles of Vocation class to Acacia Heights II. It was a pleasure sharing more about the work Catholic Charities is doing across Arizona and giving students the opportunity to tour our facility and learn about our programs.
