| As the season of gratitude begins, we’re reminded of the many ways your generosity brings hope and transformation to those we serve. This month, we invite you to celebrate the lives changed through Catholic Charities—and to see how your support continues to make a lasting difference across Arizona. | | In this issue, you’ll find: | - A special spotlight on National Adoption Month, inspiring families to open their hearts and homes to children in need.
- Keith’s story is about a Marine veteran who found stability and renewed purpose through MANA House.
- The grand opening of Joshua Tree Apartments in Kingman—our newest affordable housing community transforming a former Route 66 motel into safe, dignified homes.
- A look ahead to our Christmas Wish program (formerly Emergency Santa), and how you can share the joy of the season through our Amazon Wish List.
| Thank you for being part of this mission of faith, love, and service. Together, we’re building stronger communities and brighter futures. |

A Veteran’s Journey: Keith’s Story of Resilience | | | | When Keith shares his story, it’s with humility, humor, and deep gratitude—traits that carried him through life’s hardest moments and ultimately led him to MANA House, our transitional living program for veterans. Â
From serving as a Marine Corps mechanic to rebuilding his life after loss and addiction, Keith’s journey shows what’s possible when determination meets community support. With help from MANA House staff, he found stability, meaningful work, and a renewed sense of purpose. Â
Today, Keith is thriving—living near his family, working in aerospace, and standing on his own two feet. His story is a powerful reminder that no one succeeds alone. Read more here. | |

New Affordable Housing Opens in Kingman | | | | We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of Joshua Tree Apartments, our newest affordable housing community in Kingman, Arizona. Â
Once the historic Route 66 Motel, Joshua Tree has been beautifully transformed into 20 affordable rental units—including 11 studio apartments and 9 one-bedroom apartments—providing safe, dignified housing for individuals and families in need. Â
This project was launched by Housing for Hope, an affiliate of Catholic Charities Community Services, to expand access to affordable housing across Northern Arizona. The transformation was made possible through funding from the Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH), with additional support from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality and generous partners John and Olivia McCormick III and Pete and Cathy Bergmann. Â
Together, we’re building more than housing—we’re building hope. Â
