- A special day with Parish Champions and Seminarians as they learned more about Catholic Charities’ mission and prepared to serve alongside us.Â
- Jessica’s story of hope and healing through our domestic violence services.Â

BHHS Legacy Foundation Supports Backpack Buddies | | | | We are deeply grateful to the BHHS Legacy Foundation for their generous 2025 Backpack Buddies donation! Each backpack is filled with school supplies, health items, and hygiene essentials—giving children the tools they need to thrive.Â
These backpacks are reaching youth across several of our programs, including Westside Head Start, Resident Services, North Star Youth Partnership, CARE Campus, Family Preservation programs and My Sisters’ Place.Â
Thank you to BHHS Legacy Foundation and their partners for investing in the future of the children we serve and helping us continue our mission with love and dignity. | |

A Fresh Start for Jessica and Her Children
| | | | When 37-year-old Jessica and her five children needed safety, they found refuge at Catholic Charities’ My Sisters’ Place, a domestic violence shelter. With the help of caring staff and supportive services, Jessica began building a safety plan, working toward housing, and finding healing for her family. “Without this place, me and my kiddos wouldn’t have the chance at a new beginning that we needed,” she shared.Â
Read Jessica’s inspiring story and see how your support helps families escape abuse and start over. | |
