Refugee Resettlement
Catholic Charities Community Services
provides a welcoming and supportive network to help those new to our country become
productive members of their new community.
Each year, we help resettle more than 1,000
refugees. Many have spent more than 10 years in refugee camps, deprived of their
homes, livelihoods and basic human needs. They often arrive with little more
than a suitcase. We welcome them at the airport, teach them about their new
community and help them set up their new home.

Donations for a new life
Our refugees need everything—furnishings, dishes,
linens, toiletries (click this link to see our wish list). Your donation of new
and gently used items is tax-deductible and pick up is free. To learn more,
contact Calla Floyd, 602.997.6105 ext. 51045 or
cfloyd@cc-az.org.
Volunteer
We need volunteers to help. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities, including providing transportation
to and from job interviews, mentoring adults, and tutoring children.

Hire a refugee
Refugees are an excellent resource for employers. They bring a wonderful diversity and work ethic to
the workplace and they are willing and grateful for the opportunity to work. We
provide on-going support for employers who hire refugees placed through our
program.
Give
those who had to flee their countries a second chance in life and an
opportunity to realize the American dream. To learn more, contact Joseph Donald,

jdonald@cc-az.org.
Unaccompanied Refugee Minors
In addition to helping those granted refugee
status by our federal government, we reunite unaccompanied minors from other
countries with family members living in the United States or find stable and
caring homes for those who are without family members. Contact Kitty Marquez,
