Foster Care
Recruiting and Licensing
We recruit, train, and license families that can provide loving homes to children in the custody of the state's Child Protective Services. Once a child is placed in a foster home, Catholic Charities continues to supervise care and support foster families to make sure that the needs of foster children are met.
Community Adoptions
When a family expresses interest in adopting a child that is available for adoption through Child Protective Services, Catholic Charities assists in the process by certifying adoptive homes, matching children to families, and providing post-placement support.

Treatment Foster Care (HCTC)
Home Care Training for the Home Care Client (HCTC) is a behavioral health
service provided within the setting of the professional foster home to young
people who, without this service, would be at risk of placement into a
restrictive residential setting such as a hospital, psychiatric center,
correctional facility, residential treatment center or a group home. HCTC offers another treatment
alternative in order to promote home-based, community-based services for youth
with more complex and intensive behavioral health needs. HCTC enables youth to
receive the services and support they need within the context of family living.
HCTC Services are provided in the
