Job Summary:
·
Under the direct
supervision of the Director of DV programs, provides direct supervision for
designated MSP staff;
·
Prepares grant proposals
for existing and new shelter services;
·
Assists staff in the
de-escalation and stabilization of critical situations during designated evening
and weekend hours;
·
Provides educational
presentations in the community to promote Catholic Charities and/or provide
information on family violence as requested or assigned;
·
Establishes and maintains a
professional working relationship with other agencies or community resources;
·
Collects and documents
information regarding shelter services for report creation and submission to
Program Director on monthly/quarterly basis;
·
Participates in quality
improvement, conducting case supervision reviews of shelter client files and
advising Director of DV programs of
outcomes and findings;
·
Assists in monitoring
compliance of programming and facilities with all contracts, licenses, and
accrediting bodies;
·
Participates in weekly
staff meetings on shelter residents;
·
Performs any other
job-related tasks deemed necessary and/or as assigned.
Education/Experience:
·
Graduate degree in social
work, counseling or a closely related field and current state or national
certification/license strongly preferred;
·
Bachelor?s degree in social
work, counseling or a closely related filed with extensive experience (4 years
minimum) working in field of domestic violence, substance abuse and/or mental
health and experience in assessing individual needs of clients may be
considered.
Special Requirements:
·
Fingerprint clearance
required;
·
Must have valid Arizona
driver?s license, reliable transportation and current automobile liability
insurance.
Schedule/Salary Info:
·
Full Time, 40 hrs/week
