Job Summary:
·
Under the supervision of
the Program Coordinator, develops in conjunction with the DES/ACYF Case Manager
and/or the child and Family Team an assessment of the parenting skills of the
referred family;
·
Teaches through role
modeling and education activities;
·
Provides information to
clients regarding education, recreational and personal growth activities and
encourages families to take advantage of these opportunities;
·
Observes progress of client
and defines problem areas;
·
Provides transportation for
clients in meeting family needs;
·
Provides visit supervision
for client families as directed by the PSO67 referral, case plan or orders of
the court;
·
Prepares and keeps current
case records containing case notes regarding meetings with the supervisor and
case plan changes;
·
Participates in community
groups and establishes and maintains good working relationships with agencies
and professionals within the community;
·
Establishes a plan for
personal and professional growth by attending workshops and classes and other
appropriate training to enhance professional skills to include participation in
on-line learning through Essential Learning Program;
·
Performs any other job
related tasks deemed necessary or as assigned by supervisor.
Education/Experience:
·
Requires a minimum of a
high school diploma or GED.
Special Requirements:
·
Fingerprint clearance
required;
·
Must have valid Arizona
drivers license, own reliable transportation, and have current automobile
liability insurance;
·
Bilingual (English and
Spanish) preferred;
·
This position is for
afternoon, evening and weekend hours only
Must be at least 25.
Schedule/Salary Info:

Temporary, 20 hrs/week
