We Are the World Refugee Appreciation Dinner
Each year at our annual We are the World Refugee Appreciation Dinner, we celebrate the diversity, rich culture and freedom of those who are now proud to call America home and the compassionate community that embrace refugees as friends and neighbors.

Entertainment includes traditional arts, dance, attire and performance. We also present the Attila Magyar Humanitarian Award, honoring an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the work of resettling refugees in the Valley. 

Each dollar raised at the dinner and silent auction is matched $2 by the Federal Refugee Employment Match Grant Program, which helps refugees find jobs.
