Circles of HOPE Community Mentor Teams

EmpowerU continues through Circles of HOPE.  After completing financial education and Getting Ahead, participants are matched with Circles of HOPE volunteer mentor teams that are dedicated to helping them achieve long-term prosperity.

Circles of HOPE mentors come with a variety of skills, backgrounds and experiences. Each Circle of HOPE is created through a matching process based on the best fit for the participant’s needs, whether it’s continuing their education, buying a home, strengthening their family and social support or reducing stress.

Circles of HOPE members typically meet with their assigned participant twice per month at a location of their choosing. Early meetings focus on getting-to-know each other, rapport building and goal setting.

Circles of HOPE serve to hold participant’s accountable while helping them access the tools and information they need to achieve their goals.

Circles of HOPE are part of EmpowerU, a Catholic Charities volunteer facilitated program that helps vulnerable individuals and families achieve long-term prosperity.
