Drop-In Center Volunteer
Families and individuals without a home need a place to wash their clothes, bathe, cook a meal, apply for work and maintain social connections. Our drop-in center fulfills these needs and more.

We need are looking for compassionate volunteers to interact with our clients and to help them write resumes, set up email accounts, and look for jobs.

Interaction Volunteers: Without home and social interaction, it’s easy to become disconnected. These compassionate volunteers interact with our clients in the day center while they cook a meal, do their laundry or simply come in from the weather. They share advise, play a favorite game or simply lend a compassionate ear.

Personal Aides: These volunteers assist our clients in writing their resumes, setting up email and voicemail, looking for work and providing service referrals.

Community Clean Up: These volunteers are our “green squad,” helping to organize and execute community clean-up projects utilizing our clients and members of the community. This benefits the community and provides social interaction and a sense of accomplishment for our clients.
